This is collected through standard analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics or similar) for the purpose of understanding site performance and improving the user experience.

What we do with it:

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, deliver the services you’ve engaged us for, send relevant updates about your projects, and improve how we operate. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties under any circumstances.

Who we share it with:

We share your information only with service providers we use to operate our business — for example, payment processors (Stripe), email providers (Google Workspace), and project management tools. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations to protect your data.

If we are legally required to disclose information by Canadian law (federal or provincial), we will comply with that obligation. We will not voluntarily share your data with law enforcement or government bodies without legal compulsion.

How we protect it:

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password practices, and limited access controls. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Your rights under PIPEDA:

Under Canadian privacy law (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you have the right to:

Who we are:

These terms govern the relationship between you and Linaris Marketing Inc., a Canadian corporation registered in Ontario, when you engage our services or use our website.

Our services:

Linaris provides digital marketing services including website design and development, paid advertising management (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and similar platforms), search engine optimization (SEO), and related strategic services. The specific services, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement will be set out in a separate written agreement (Statement of Work or Engagement Letter) signed by both parties.

Engagement terms:

All engagements have a minimum term of three (3) months for ongoing retainer services. After the minimum term, retainers convert to month-to-month and may be cancelled by either party with thirty (30) days written notice. One-time builds (websites, campaign launches, audits) are billed as fixed-fee projects per the Statement of Work.

Payment:

Payment terms are specified in each Statement of Work. Setup fees are typically due upfront. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Ontario law, whichever is lower. We reserve the right to pause services if invoices are more than 14 days past due.

Ownership:

Upon full payment for any deliverable, you own the deliverable outright — including your website, your domain, your hosting accounts, your ad accounts, and your data. We retain ownership of any underlying methodologies, internal frameworks, and pre-existing intellectual property used to create the deliverable. You grant us permission to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Confidentiality:

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public business information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the engagement.

Performance and disclaimers:

We work to deliver high-quality services and meaningful results, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes (such as a precise number of leads, a specific revenue figure, or a particular search ranking). Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, competitor activity, search engine algorithm changes, and the quality of your offer and operations.

Where we have made specific guarantees in writing (such as “rank for X by Y date or we work free until you do”), those guarantees apply as written. All other expected outcomes are good-faith estimates based on our experience and judgment.

Liability:

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you to us in the six (6) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

Termination:

Either party may terminate the engagement after the minimum term with thirty (30) days written notice. We may terminate immediately for non-payment, breach of contract, or unethical conduct. Upon termination, we will deliver all owned work product, transfer account access, and provide a final invoice for any outstanding fees.

Governing law:

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Updates:

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients in writing. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
